log in to control panel doesn’t work | ExpressionEngine Community Forums

I just installed pmachine 2.3 free version and I cannot log into the control panel. Everytime I do and hit enter, it resets the fields and stays on the log in page. When I tried to do “forgot password” it says “A problem was encountered while performing this action.”

Help anyone?
