I am developing a site for a client that is looking to have wiki articles displayed on the front page of the site much like a weblog. I know how to set up a weblog to show the latest 5 or 10 posts, but I haven’t found anything in the forums or documentation or anywhere else for setting this kind of behavior up for a wiki.

So - is it possible to have wiki articles display like weblog posts outside of the wiki? Is it possible to have a “Latest wiki articles” section within the wiki that pulls the newest, say, 5 articles?

Thanks - that worked. Is it possible to also display an excerpt from the article (maybe the first X words), and a link to “Read More” and “Edit”? Thanks!

While we’re on the same topic Sue, is it possible to do the same thing for forum posts?

My client wants to show the latest X posts from the forums on the home page of the site in a format like this:

[Thread Title]
[excerpt from latest post in thread]
[link to read more] or [link to respond]

You can see the gist of this idea by visiting this page and looking at the bottom left of the page.
