Sorry if this has been mentioned before.  I did a quick lazy search and didn’t find anything.

This is a very minor quibble.  The short names and labels of things like weblogs, category fields, etc are sometimes short name on top and sometimes short name second.  I tend to get programmed one way or the other without reading the instructions.  I then get error, rapidly fire off a few minor but clever insults, make the changes and then move on. 

Anyone else run into this?  Mildly annoying.  I imagine this comes in at the tail end of the EE 1.6.x lifespan but it might be something to consider in the next version too.  Word.

Yep run into this a few times and as far as I know there was already a Feature Request for this or definitely at least a post about it somewhere. I myself sometimes have to stop and think exactly what is needed sometimes. Also some third party developers seem to do this too and sometimes the name describing what you are meant to put into the field doesn’t really tell you what you need to put in. Sometimes I have to guess and then go back and edit after if it is indeed wrong!

Would be nice for it to be the same across the board though, totally agree on that one.
