I installed the Multi Site Module on my website debts.org and now when I create a website marking all the content, templates and global variables must be duplicated, it doesn’t give me an exact duplicate of the original site. It contains many more catgories and is anything but a duplicate.

You are only duplicating the templates and variables; you might have to reassign category groups, status groups and the like. When you say “it contains many more catgories”, do you actually have a status group assigned?
