Sorry for what may be obvious question I’m still getting to grips with EE. I must say I love it so far.

We have an events calendar that’s up and running. Some events run over multiple days an example would be 26th - 28th September as seen here… and we would like this to be shown on the calendar. SO if the event runs over 4 days, 4 days would be highlighted. If a user then clicks a given date in the range it open the given article for that event.

Also, once you have clicked through to a given event (as per URL above) can I get the calendar to default to the given article’s month (September in this case).

Is it possible to do this with the standard calendar tags or do I need to look at finding a plugin?

Hi, Paul. This isn’t possible using the standard calendar. I am noticing that there is something wrong with your calendar linking.. even August entries like to September.

How are you coding these?

Thanks for the response Sue,

RE the small “bug” eg even August entries link to September. - I was being silly and this is fixed, thanks for spotting it!

Hee- yes, is better now.

And- might put in a feature request to span days.  Until then- I’ve used the third party Repeet plugin to do it.  While I don’t muck w/the calendar much and it was a simple implementation- the plugin worked as advertised for me.

Want I should shift to ‘how to’ to brainstorm on it- or are we good to close this one out?
