Hello,

We are implementing EE into the new website for our Fraternity. Activities and events are at the core of our organization. It might be an oversight on our part by not checking first, but I can’t seem to find any info that a calendar exists with EE. Is there any add-ons that would be similar to:

HCSC Calendar

or like this Joomla extension called JEvents:
TKC Calendar

What would be have to do to get a piece like these integrated with EE?

That is a starting point, you can also use Repeet to allow for events that span dates, and repeating events.  But yes, this is a starting point that is up to you to build on.
