Moderator’s note: Moved to CSS & Design.

I just installed FF3 on my iMac and went to our EE site. Some styles from one stylesheet are simply not rendering at all leaving the site looking terrible (specifically text and lists). Has anyone else encountered this? Anyone have any tips as to what to look for? Our site is live and while FF, let alone FF3 is not that big a chunk of the pie, it is still important for us to fix.

Thanks!

I’m on FF3 for Windows, and everything looks OK to me.. but I’m also not logged in as a user if that makes a difference.

But I can point to one of your problems in your stylesheets.

body#home #search {

position: relative;

float: left;

width: 150px;

height: 36px;

overflow: hidden;

background-image: url(images/common/searchbox.gif);

background-repeat: no-repeat;

}

Any time you refer to images in your CSS file, always path from the root.

So instead, try:

body#home #search {

position: relative;

float: left;

width: 150px;

height: 36px;

overflow: hidden;

background-image: url(/images/common/searchbox.gif);

background-repeat: no-repeat;

}

Check other places in your CSS to fix.

Does that make sense?

I went and installed it on my copy of XP through Fusion and it looks like it is supposed to, so now I am even more flummoxed. Thanks for those tips, I will look into that, but somehow, it doesn’t seem like it would fix what I am seeing. See attached screencap from this page.
