I’ve used Print100.com for the last 2 years.  Great price, great quality.

I recommend at least to see their work.

They are a little more than most gang-run printers, but I really like 4x6.com. Request some samples and you’ll see what I mean.

I’ve used Overnight Prints (pretty nice and criminally cheap), 48 Hour Prints (decent), PSPrint (alright in a squeeze) and requested samples from countless others.

Just seeing this post…my 10 cents:

I’ve just recently used Plasma Design (UK - but ships to US) and am fairly pleased with the results - see attached

Also used Copy Craft and have been pleased with all the jobs I’ve run thru them. Very good quality.

Very cool card! I’m curious about the pricing of metal/plastic, I’ll have to check that out.

That card is very cool - and on this subject, check out this here which I picked up from Twitter earlier today (I think from someone who posts here, but I can’t remember).

I stumbled upon it on digg today, but I had seen this collection before.

@trif3cta

Well, the plastic cards are not the least expensive way to go (about 4x as expensive as most bulk services). But if you’re willing to pay for the look, they are very cool.

The process is somewhat restrictive because of the limited number of ink colors available and the limited amount of ink coverage allowable in any one area.

Don’t know anything about their metal process other than it too is expensive.

Greener Printer

I got a free box of cards during their Earth Day sale - very nice recycled paper and inks.

I just print them as I need them on glossy biz-card stock.

Yeah me too.

If you’re a design firm or agency I highly recommend http://4over.com. We use them for a lot of standard matte or glossy cards. They do excellent work, have fast turnaround and have amazing prices. I think the price points vary based on volume, but we pay $24 for 1000 4/4 business cards and they have free shipping to you OR they can blind ship to your clients.
