In case anybody doesn’t follow the blog on the EllisLab site, Rick launched a redesign with some nice illustration work by a community member here.
I added the site to my gallery picks for the week, it’s so-o good! I tracked down more info on the illustrator, and even PM’ld him via the EE forums here, and there’s a link there to Derek Allard’s post on the redesign. Nice job on the redesign all the way around, check it out if you haven’t.

Hee- I’m not design oriented and tend not to notice it as long as the site’s readable and the navigation is intuitive. But I totally dig the staff pages. I’m BLUE! The artwork really kicked butt IMO. Also- I like being blue.

Which reminds me… my photo is somewhat overdue. But it took a few days to get my inlaw’s digital SLR. I agree, very nice design, though.
