Should screen_name field in exp_members have an index on it?

When a user changes their password, I’m getting a message dumped to screen as given below.  It makes me think that it is expecting that screen_name would have an index on it.  I checked in phpMyAdmin, and exp_members doesn’t currently have an index on that field, although I can’t imagine how it might have lost it.

Notice: Undefined index: screen_name in .../modules/member/mod.member_settings.php on line 1429

UPDATED: actually, now that I checked the install code, this isn’t probably referring to a SQL table index, but possibly an indice of an array.  Does anyone recorgnize that as a standard PHP warning/note?

No, it’s got nothing to with MySQL. What version and build are you using?

I’m using version 1.6.3 (I believe the very latest as it was a recent install).

But, I did modify the member profile templates.  I think it must be related to that (although I didn’t notice a problem when I first changed it).

I have this fixed now.

I had removed any reference to screen_name from the member profile “username and password form” because the site isn’t supposed to let users change it.  The form displayed OK, but when a person did a successful password update, that’s when that note would show up.  I added the screen_name back in as a hidden field, and that fixed the issue.
