The website was built entirely in Expression Engine (core version, but I will get personal license next week). There’re a few things need to be tweaked here and there, but I’m really excited with the launch.
This is my first EE site and I can’t tell you how I love EE. EE eats all other CMSes (including my custom-built CMS, which I was very proud of) for breakfast.
Very nice, it has that “dear diary/blog” feel to it…nice patters and textures. PS 5 was my first tool as well along with UD (DW).
Just curious, what is “frexy”?

Thanks for your kind words. Seems everyone begins their design journeys with PS5…
The story of the name Frexy is very interesting. Like other people, I started with a dictionary when I tried to find a name for my business. After looked up and wrote a long list of around 150 items, I wasn’t satisfied. My friend asked me “what makes you happy ?” “Something fresh and sexy”, I answered ... ah ... Frexy, why not? And Frexy was born.
It wins the site-of-the-week award!
Leather is so-o-o frexy.
Is that a combination of Fresh and sexy, guessing?
Did you scan the embroidered leather header?
I’m guessing it’s illustrated, but it does look 3-d realistic.

Yah you’re right, Frexy is the combination of Fresh and sexy, as I explained above.
I mixed many stuffs together to create the design elements. The scroll was made with a texture I found on istockphoto, and the woodie part is hand-drawn using a wacom and some random wood texture ... I will find some free time to write some tutorials.
@Mark Bowen: I’m glad that you like the sister site. Thank you!
Hi Min, I just saw the homesite there too looks great, you’ll have to add blog links.
Also just noticed you got a link from visual blas to your icons:
http://www.visual-blast.com/graphics/icons/bright-a-free-icon-set/
do you have those in anything other than the AI file, my version of illustrator, and even photoshop are too old to open it. An EPS would probably work out.

Hi tz3ee,
I added the AI 10 compatible version. Please check it back. If you have any problem please post a comment on my blog, or drop me an email.
I think Linkedin.com wants you to add “www.” to your outgoing link. It’s sending folks to the home page of their site and not to your profile. Seems sort of strange, but that’s what’s happening from here.

Wow, even your search results page looks good!
Great work!
Thanks for your kind words, Kurt. I already fixed the LinkedIn link. It should work fine now.
