Hi,
I’m speccing a set of designs for four brands. They sit within a single organisation and, once they top level ‘brand’ is removed, they share a number of community attributes. So we’re looking to have a common community with the four brands sitting above that - allowing users to log-in to a single brand, which in turn allows them access to the other brands. We’re also intending to aggregate content across the four brands (cross-pollination of sorts). All of the services would or could be hosted on a common platform.
Will EE give us the ability to build this single-sign-on, common community , multi-branded suite of websites?
Cheers, BatMombee.

Based on the description, it sounds like a good case for EE- and the multiple site manager.  Actually- you may/may not need the MSM, depends on the details.  But off the bat, sounds like a good case for it.

Have you taken EE for a test run yet?  There are a number of trial options- the hosted demo would give you a feel for how the backend of an MSM site works.
