So any remaining issues—like a bunch of busted functionality in the forums (which I’ve also now updated)—are issues within the site itself, and not with the EE install?

Any way to confirm the integrity of the install?

sorry, you’re probably right, i was just concerned based on Derek’s comments in the thread linked above that there was some additional rollback requirement to repair the entire installation.

if his points have been met by my successful install of EE 1.6.3 - 20080421 and Forum 2.1.0, then close this ticket and i will submit something on the Forum issues separately.
