I have a weblog with two categories assigned to it. In the CP, they appear in a single select box - does anyone know of a plugin that will split these into seperate boxes (if that’s even possible)?

It’s workable for me, but I fancy it will confuse the client.

If I’m understanding correctly I don’t think there is anything to do what you are after. Also I am thinking if you now went and added say another 10 categories what would happen. Would you want 12 or so select boxes everywhere. Could start to look rather unsightly. There is a great extension called Category Checkboxes which might be a better fit for what you need though? With this it is also less likely for a client to accidentally de-select items too which is always a good thing to cater for

It sure would, but I won’t be adding 10 or 12 categories - it will stick at 2 pretty much guaranteed.
