I’ve upgraded to EE 1.1 and everything seems to be in place, except I can’t see my blog entries.

Everything else on the page is there, including a Blogroll in the sidebar. When I go to the Edit section I can see the entries and edit them. I didn’t overwrite my path.php, but I checked it anyway and it appears to be correct.

Any suggestions???  :0|

Did you, by chance, overwrite your config.php file? If yes, did you remember to back it up before you uploaded the new files?

No, I was careful not to overwrite that. I did back it up first, then when I ran into this problem I uploaded it again (and checked the permissions) to see if that would fix the problem…but with no luck.  :0|

Hm, so your templates are rendering but the EE tag for the entries is not outputting content.

Double check your templates to make sure that you have the correct weblog specified in the {exp:weblog:entries} tag and that you have the variables in there (i.e. {body}).  I am not sure how those would have changed on update but it is the first thing I would check.

Oh yes, and if you do not have error reporting turned on in Debugging Preferences, then it would be a good idea to switch that on to see if there is anything outputted.

All of our entries are future dated, so as a test I replaced the new mod.weblog.php with my old one (which had been modified to display future entries), and now all of my entries are there. 

Hmmm, I thought that feature was included with this upgrade? (or maybe that was just wishful thinking on my part. :0)  Also, does anyone know if the hack to search future entries was also included?

From the EE 1.1 notes:

- Added a new parameter that allows entries posted in the future to show
up: show_future_entries=“yes” It is available in these tags:
{exp:weblog:entries}, {exp:weblog:category_archive},
{exp:weblog:next_entry}, and {exp:weblog:previous_entry}

I didn’t test that for 1.1, so any one else try it?
