Thank you very much everyone for the kind words Everybody’s been great, and I feel really privileged to work with colleagues like the ones I have, with this community, for a company like EllisLab. I really do.
Mats, I hate to disappoint you there, but while I’ll probably be around privately to some degree, my official shift is in the late evening, European time, corresponding with US business hours.
Congratulations, Ingmar, and thanks both for your help in the past and now, more officially for the future. You’ve always been one of the posters I make a point of reading when scanning my forum ‘unreads’.

Oh, I see… I definitely thought this was another smart move in the EllisLab plan to conquer the world with EE, hiring a support specialist for Europe (and maybe another one for Asia/Australia later on?). If I recall correctly, there’s been some talk about this. So I just took for granted that the time had now come.
(Just FYI, I hesitate to upgrade my three sites to the latest EE version because I need to do it early in the morning CET when few users are online. At that time America is fast asleep – at least the support specialists at EllisLab, if you should happen to need one promptly to solve problems with a mission critical site…)

EDIT: But please don’t let me spoil your day with my rantings. I’m happy for you and wish you all the best!
