I’m a pmachine user trying to figure out EE. I have a very basic question and I scoured he manual for the answer but couldn’t find it.

The pmachine manual had a library of tags you could use. I can’t find a library in the EE manual, am I missing something?

thanks!

No, you aren’t really missing anything. The way EE works is completely different then what you are used to with pM. I think coming over from the pM side as you have (and I did) is somewhat of a disadvantage, you have to forget almost everything you know. At least for me, I had to re-read the manual a couple of times and then just play around with the initial install/templates to see what did what and how. Eventually the light bulb went off and I understood the EE system. Now that I know it, there is no going back to pM grin
Good Luck…The effort will be worth it in the end.

There isn’t any sort of “master library” of tags for EE.  Due to the way that EE works and how you create Templates, it isn’t really feasible to make on in the same manner as it was for pMachine.  If you look in the manual, almost all the EE Tags (and their associated parameters and variables) are located in the Tags and Modules section.  A few more general/global type tags and information are under Template Information.
