Jean-Baptiste Grenouille is my name and bottling brilliance is something I have yet to perfect.  I’ll let you fine folks know how it goes.

I wouldn’t be going out on a limb if I suggested that neither of you have actually read Purfume (or at least seen the movie), because Grenouille is totally not the kind of guy that anyone would aspire to be. Haha. he sker me :((((

I’ve seen half of it but it just seemed long.  Maybe the first half is just felt longer than the second half could be…and who said I wouldn’t want to aspire to be him? wink Just kidding.  He had some issues.

Well, whou wants to be named “Grenouille” anyway? Seriously, “Frog”? But then I never cared much for Süskind anyway.

Everything will be good in the end. If it’s not good, it’s not the end.

But than I never cared much for Süskind anyway.

I thought that the book was very, very special. Scent is one of the more powerful of the senses, yet it is often completely overlooked in literature, or used sporadically when the author is attempting to convey the deliciousness of a meal or the unappealing qualities of a vagrant.

Unfortunately, even though the use of scent in Purfume tickled my olfactory and literary senses and sensibilities, it was a pretty crap book. Haha.

The screencast/preview movie for 1.6 demonstrating the Multiple Site Manager was excellent. But what I also loved about the screencast was that it gave a general insight into how the websites for EllisLab, ExpressionEngine and CodeIgniter work.

The visual representation has certainly given me a better understanding of how things work, because I can view those sites as a user and then use the screencast/preview video to see how some things are put together.

Perhaps you guys and girls might consider doing some more screencasts for newbies and fans of EE?
