I have specified a Return email address for auto-generated emails and a Webmaster or site name for auto-generated emails in the email config in Admin. But I would also like to use these as a default for the Your Name and Your Email in the Communication module. Right now the Your Name field is empty by default and the Your Email field contains my own adress by default. But these newsletters must be sent using the standard adress and sender name. I must be missing a setting somewhere.

How and where can I make that a default?

This would require some sort of custom coding.  From the work needed to make the changes I would think the current functionality would be the best to use.  You could put this in as a feature request as well.

So there is currently no way to set a default Name and Adress Field? No extenstions or plugins either that deal with this? Then I guess I will have to live with it. :-(

One more thing…. Couldn’t I just hard code the adress and sender in the system files? I checked the file cp.communicate.php but my knowledge off php is not sufficiant to figure that out myself.
