I have written a small extension that will display the entry view counts for each entry in the Edit Page of the control panel. You can see what it looks like in the attached screenshot.

Download it here. Enjoy!

I’ve updated the extension! Now you can choose to show the total entry view counts.

Oh no! It doesn’t work with the Clone Entry extension :(

When I disable the Clone Entries extension, then the entry views column shows up. If I enable it (I use it often) then entry views column disappears, despite being enabled :( Any fix??

The extension with lesser priority will need to use the $EXT->last_call variable for its input.

Unfortunately, not being a developer, I have no idea what anything on that page means…is this a fix that I should be able to do, or a request I would make of one of the extension creators? smile

My extension uses $EXT->last_call so I think it’s the Cloner extension. Anyone have a link to it?

It was created by Paul - here is the link to his DevBlog entry about it, along with download:

Ok, here’s a really quick fix to the cloner extension:

Find the line (there should be 2 of them)

global $DSP, $LANG;

and replace it with

global $DSP, $LANG, $EXT;

Then find the line

return $DSP->table_qcell('tableHeadingAlt', $LANG->line('clone'));

and add the following right on top of it:

if ($EXT->last_call != false) { return $EXT->last_call.$DSP->table_qcell('tableHeadingAlt', $LANG->line('clone')); }

Lastly, find the line

return $DSP->table_qcell($style, $view_link);

and add the following on top of it:

if ($EXT->last_call != false) { return $EXT->last_call.$DSP->table_qcell($style, $view_link); }
