Installation (stupid?) problem

I am trying to install expression engine 1.4 and everything goes perfectly well, up untill the moment when i get to enter som information in the wizard, about the MySQL details, username etc. The funny thing is that when I enter kminov@gmail.com in the field “Email address of webmaster” it tells me “ERROR: The following Errors were encountered: The email address you submitted is not valid”. Which is, obviously, not true. What am I missing?

Which version/build of EE? Core or regular EE?

If you put in something like test@gmail.com—does that work?

Double check how you put in the email name.

I just installed using EECore with your email address in two places. Not a bit of a problem.

Since you’re by no means the first one to have that problem, this might be an interface issue, and perhaps should be improved in a future version.
