Here Yahoo uses WP but they are ashamed to announce it.

The point was that they did not link back to WP. (Click on the WP link on my first post)

They don’t have to link back to WP, as per the GPL.  It is a courtesy, not a requirement.

So now your saying Yahoo shows no courtesy

I didn�t say they were breaking any law or license.

Many, many businesses do not show “Powered by” information.  That is their right depending on the software licensing - which in this case, allows for them to remove the link.

I do not think that this has anything to do with shame.  It is a very common decision that businesses make to not advertise the tools that they use to create their pages.
