I ran into the “You have exceeded the allowed page load frequency” messge today twice already when browsing these forums. Given the fact that they should only prevent abusive behavior (or so I reckon), the limit might be tad too low.

Ingmar- what browser are you using?  Curious, because I haven’t tripped the throttle yet- even after multiple refreshes.  But like I say, I know others have run into the issue.

I run into the problem when I open several pages in tabs. I like to enter a forum and open each of the topics I want to read in separate tabs. If I’m only interested in a couple topics it’s no problem. But if I’ve been away for a while the ol’ tabs add up quickly.

Yes, it’s usually opening in tabs, or when opening an article, scanning its content, hitting “back” and reading the next… My main browser is Opera 8.5, but FF (0.8.) shows the same behavior.

Same thing is happening to me…quite often.

Same here. I’ve only had it happen here a handful of times, though—a clear minority of tabs I open on any given occasion.
