Rick and I released ExpressionEngine 1.4 to a small group of initial beta testers yesterday, and we have been beating through their emails for the past 24 hours squashing various bugs. I apologize for the vicious imagery but my head is kind of pounding right now. I can feel my temple throbbing a bit like my brain cells are trying to retreat from the doomed fort that is my mind. Any moment now I will totally flip out and start sucking whip cream straight from the can…without a napkin!
continue…

the new version is not the only thing that is becoming public with this release…
I don’t know, Randy. That sounds like corporate speak to me. But that’s pure guessing on my part.

Yeah!!! So typically, how long from Beta to Release?? Anyone? I’ve been super anxious for this release ever since the first teaser.
Congrats Paul and Rick.

Don’t tell us you’re gay? We’re all adults here. Who cares about such minutia… We just want the code!

It’s gotta be something along these lines. But if he’s gay, how did he become pregnant?!?!

Hey, I read fanfic and guys end up pregnant all the time. Seriously, it can happen! We won’t discuss the birthing process in polite company.
ETA: O M G! Mr. Wilson, that may be the most disturbing image I’ve ever seen!

I know the secret
Figured you would ;-)
My two guesses are eCommerce or Community…since they have both been on the list for a long time.

Come on, guys, you are so unimaginative. And please no more emails about getting in the beta group. It hurts my head even more.
Alnisa, a beta can take anywhere from a week to a month depending on a lot of factors. We still are confident that 1.4 will be out by the end of the year.
Brendon, you wish.
