Affiliates or Purchase Myself?

Hi there,

I referred my client to purchase EE for his website however here is the minor conundrum: He asked me to purchase it for him and just invoice him for the cost to be added with my service costs. That’s all fine and dandy for me—however, I know that I can’t refer myself as an affiliate and get the 10% commission, and if I purchase it through my own account, I get no 10% discount until I’ve purchased 3+ EEs.

At any rate, I AM referring it to him and he IS indirectly paying for the software (he just doesn’t want to pay for it immediately/directly as he wants his invoice to be all inclusive with my services)... so what should I do to get the most bang for my buck?
