There is a new template up on EE Designs called “MT Modern” and it is based on the “Modern Lines” design at Movable Style.  Check it out here.

Cool.
One problem, in the left column, the bottom border under the dates cuts right through the year, at least in Safari. They are all fine in the right column.

Hmmm… that is odd… I just checked it in Safari and it looks fine.  Are you using Safari 1.2.3?

But I did notice something that I just fixed.  The calendar in the sidebar was kind of squished and the border underneath the calendar’s header did not extend all the way to the edge to the screen like the other headers.  That is now fixed.

PXLated, if you have any recommendations on how to fix what you’re seeing, please let me know.  Can you post or email me a screenshot?

Charles...Ya, Safari 1.2.3

My guess is that it’s in you’re “.content h2” css as there is no padding specified for the bottom, only the left. Whereas in your “.sidebar h2” which displays correctly there is padding specified all around.

strange.  That’s the same version of Safari I have and I don’t see this anomaly at all.  I wonder why you would and I wouldn’t see it with the same browser.

Can anyone else confirm this problem using Safari 1.2.3 and hopefully send me a screen shot?

PXLated, I think I understand the issue—the original template did not have the day of the week in that date heading.  Taking out the day brings the date up to one line.  Can you please check and confirm?  Thank you for pointing this out.

That took care of the bottom rule thru the year but they still don’t match the ones in the right column. There is more space between the bottom of the text and the bottom rule in the left column.
I think it’s a matter of making the css for the left match the css on the right since that works and they don’t match right now.
