I’ve eventually launched a new reflex site with a standards compliant design and settled on EE as the cms of choice.

Please take a look, I’d appreciate any feedback.

Cheers,
Jeremy

Please take this as what it is, a purely personal opinion and feedback. The layout doesn’t work for me. For my taste, you are spending to much screen real estate for things that do not instantly convey a message; about two thirds of my screen (1024x768) are used for the logo, an oversized menu and three showcases of your recent work. The last sentence I can read without scrolling is “We design websites and applications that help teams, businesses and organisations work better online.”  That’s it. Now, I was planning to get a bigger monitor real soon now, but until then ... The whole design looks a bit bumpy, in my opinion.

But then, perhaps I’m just getting old grin

Ingmar,
Thanks for the feedback - much appreciated. I’m trying to go for a bit of impact and drawing attention to the casestudy feature on the homepage, although I know that won’t be to all tastes!

Cheers,
J

Biggest chink in impressively hip and up-to-date first impression armour is this ghastly copy: But we’re so much more than “just another web design company”.

Take it off right now!

Just out of curiosity, what’s wrong with that copy?

... impressively hip and up-to-date first impression…

Thanks Adam, come on - is that a veiled compliment? wink

Yes - the homepage copy probably is pretty weak.
This redesign is going to be an iterative process -so I’ll be addressing copy sooner rather than later.

Out of interest - is it just the homepage copy that stuck out to you as being, well, offensive?

Seriously, though - I’m appreciating the feedback. Thanks.
