I was until a few days ago, may put it back on my search page.  Just didn’t fit on my main page anymore.

As I mentioned in the thread about the plugin, performance was awful because it does a content search, so I use the thread method. That only searches titles and is therefore much faster.

The new line is this:

liveSearchReq.open("GET", liveSearchRoot + "/livesearch.php?q="
+ document.forms.searchform.q.value + liveSearchParams);

What should I do?

I haven’t looked at the livesearch for a long time now. Thought I had removed it from my site… Will look through this thread when I have time as I have not been following it for a while and maybe look at the plugin again. Won’t promise anything though.

Which new js file are you referring to?

Hi,

I’m trying to make the livesearch fonction work in my website, but i guess I’m doing something wrong, and since the “js” has changed, I was wondering if someone has some “advices” to make it work…

of course, it’s not ‘vital’, but I love the effect smile

Thanks in advance

Best regards
