I am trying to get moblogging working corectly.
It seems to be posting multiple times with the
one email (about 30 times)

Any ideas what may cause this?

Yes, I have 1.3.1.

There were reports of this prior to EE 1.2.1 and the problem was that the moblog cache file was not being written soon enough, thus if there were multiple hits to a template containing the {exp:moblog:check} tag an entry could be duplicated multiple times.  I have not heard of it being a problem since that release though, so I am surprised you are seeing it in EE 1.3.1.  I’d like you to check a few things first.

1.  Download a fresh copy of EE 1.3.1, delete the moblog folder in the /system/modules/ directory on your server, and then upload the moblog folder in the freshly downloaded copy of EE 1.3.1.  I have seen cases where an FTP program will not actually overwrite a file correctly.

2.  Check the permissions for your /system/cache/ directory.  Make sure it is set for 777.

3.  Delete the moblog_cache folder in the /system/cache/ directory.

If, after all of this, the problem still occurs send me an email and I can look at your site a bit closer.
