on my blogger blog, i had it formatted so that each day’s posts were headed by the date. I’d like to do the same thing in EE, but I’m not sure I understand how. Whatever I try, it shows the date before *each* post, instead of just once before all the posts for that day. How can I do this? Thanks for any help!

try the {date_header}....{/date_header} tags.

I haven’t been able to find any reference on that tag in my EE documentation… What’s the syntax there? (i’m slowly getting the hang of this…) Thanks!

From what I’ve seen on pmachine threads, I did this correctly.

I put the full ‘header’ unit (the HTML, and the entry_date tag) inside the {date_header} and {/date_header} tags. Instead, what it did was go ahead and put the header above every post again, and put the date_header bits in plain text before and after it.
