I’m looking for a way to display just the domain of the referrers. Is this a capability builtin to EE or does it require some sort of plugin or module?

I believe a plugin would have to be written to parse the URL and just output the domain. Looking at the plugin site, there does not seem to be one that does this already. Let me get back to you once I take care of a few things this morning.

Ok, check out the Parse URLs plugin. I think it will do what you need.
