site broken after php upgrade

My hosting company upgraded their php to 4.4.0 and since then my site (EE1.2) has not worked..

Is there something I could quickly change to get it going again?

PHP 4.4.0 changed a core feature in a way that wasn’t backwards-compatible. EE 1.3.1 will contain a fix for this. In the meantime, you could upgrade to EE 1.3 and then get the fix from Paul as mentioned in this thread. You will need to upgrade to EE 1.3 in order to get the fix, though.
