Does anyone have the code to put comments in a popup window?  I tried the code in this thread:

but that didn’t work.

I did (might still but can’t look till morning). The reason I dumped it was I had the comments and the comment form in the popup. The popup was templated for a smaller sized window. If a person added a comment and an email notice was sent, the link would be back to the comment form that sent it, the popup template…but it would open in the regular full window so it didn’t work for me in that situation.

I’m not really sure I want to do it, and there are certainly a lot of good reasons NOT to, but I’d like to play around with it a little bit just for fun.  If you dig up the code, I’d appreciate it.

There’s nothing really special about this.  You create a Template to display the comments.  Then, when you link to it, you just use some javascript to force it to open up into a defined window.  Maybe something like this:
