OK, this is insane.

Three-ish hours ago I posted a comment on my site.  So I know that the comments links were all working fine.

I have not changed ANYTHING except turning on PMs for members.

Now I get a 404 when I try to hit any comment link.  Throttling is off, I even checked the config file by hand.

Can anyone help me here?

Sure.  Go to http://right-thoughts.us and try to hit any comment link.  They’re all broken.

*Added: For the record, I went to the EE site, looked up a template and copied the code for a comments page link just in case I was using soemthing that wasn’t kosher.  It didn’t make a difference…the URL is still constructed the same way, and is still broken.  It;s definitely an ee issue as I am getting the EE 404, not my server’s 404.

Just out of curiosity, if you remove the “recent forum posts” - does that fix it?

BINGO.  Good lookin’ out.  I wonder why that breaks comments.  If you can figure it out, cool, but it’s not vital to me, I could live without it.
