Logical Blocks Forum Theme.

I’ve pretty much finished making a forum theme for the logical blocks template set. It does look slightly different but, still flows nicely from a logical blocks site.

I had some trouble getting the header section wrapped with white like it is in the blog template, so I left it as is. Additionally I wanted to use the tabs for links next to the breadcrumb trail, but couldn’t figure that out. I didn’t want the breadcrumb to be tabbed, but rather on a second seperate line, formatted as is.

EFL Geek is my logical blocks based site. You can see my forums here. I have a couple of more things to tweak and once it is completely finished, if there is interest I’ll make a zip file available for download.

Sure, once I get a coupe of things tweaked - one of which is I can’t figure out where to change the link color in the private message box at the top…

If you want to download this theme it is now available. In addition to the kinks mentioned above, the pm box and mini-login screw up the banner a little in IE. I’ve got some other things to work on now and a 1 week trip to Singapore this weekend, but I will try to figure it out later. You can see the theme in action at EFL Geek Forums. The zip file includes the default logo, not the one I am using and a text link with the forum name on top of the logo.

In the future any changes will be automatically added to this zip.

It’s been a while and I dont’ really remember, but I think it was somewhere around 5 hours. Someone with better CSS skills would probably be able to do it faster.

I just uploaded the theme to my themes/forum_themes directory—there are now 2 folders: default and LB-forum.

Unfortunately when I click on the “theme preferences” I only get the “Default Forum Theme” showing.

Any thoughts on what could be wrong? I’m running EE 1.4.1. Thanks.

Just updated this theme to include the tabs - previously I hadn’t figured out how to get them there.

Additionally this logical blocks now has a wiki theme to match.

Well… doesn’t work for me… All I’ve got is error message

Unable to locate the following forum theme file: LB-forum/theme_javascript.php

Any idea where to get that file?
