Protecting Rare Photos

I have a client that has very rare photos of very famous person and he want to let folks see them for a small fee but he’s worried about people copying the photos and selling them, and rightfully so. I told him it’s very difficult to keep things like photos from being downloaded but that I’d ask around for any ideas that might help him. If you have any ideas please do share. Thanks.

I am using IE. Some friends of mine said that Firefox is better.

But 2.0 or 3.0?

Some say 2.0, some say 3.0?

I have never use firefox before. But i like to try. I want to know:

1) Firefox better or IE?

2) if Firefox, then 2.0 or 3.0?

Can anyone explain to me? I dont know technology much. please explain in very very very easy way!!!!

Tour Reservation Software (eCommerce)

Hello there,

Anybody tried a tour reservation system, basically an eCommerce system like Magento/x-cart/zencart but designed for boat rentals or tour reservations.

The company purchased IMS Cart, but it doesn’t offer any documentation, can only be installed by the IMS install team, and is expensive.

Anyone ever had a project like this?

Howdy,

Had a question about the Ellis Lab cartoon scientist guy found at http://ellislab.com/ - who created him? The reason I’m asking is I’ve found him elsewhere. I found it in a portfolio, a screenshot for a completely different website (which apparently isn’t up yet). I’m assuming it’s the property of Ellis Labs...but I wanted to make sure before I got all accusatory.

Well if the good folks at ExpressionEngine could manage to get EE v.2.0 out the door here real quick… then they could share the dubious distincition and honors as having the week before the 4th of July with one Will Smith, named after them!!
It could be known as not only ”Big Willie Week” but also just as plain “Big-EE” week also!
Will’s new movie Hancock looks pretty cool, he always launches his block-buster summer hit movies the week before the 4th, in case you didn’t know.
Just an extraneous thought.

In case anyone there is tempted “Go For IT!” Big Will-ee Style!

Illustrator Not Updating?

Have any of you had issues with the Illustrator CS3 updater not installing the 13.0.1 update? Everything seems to go ok until the status bar gets to the last 25% of the update, and it just stops dead… It never updates. I’ve even downloaded the update from the site; still nothing…

Any of you having this problem

FYI: This is the Mac platform

Each time I open an Adobe product, I get a “There’s an update” prompt, telling me to update Illustrator - but I can never complete the update.
