Hi all,

I have created a new magazine with ExpressionEngine related content, called exp:magazine.

You can download it here: http://nordic-ee-users.com/index.php/blog/comments/expmagazine-a-new-magazine-for-the-community

This first issue has content from my Nordic EE Uses site, but for the next issue (that is planned to go out as fast as possible) I would love some fresh content.

So if you have news, reviews, tutorials or opinions that you would allow exp:magazine to publish, you get a free ad in the magazine!

It does not have to be fresh content - even though that would be awesome - but can be content you already published on your own site, that the community could benefit from reading. We all miss out on at lot of content, either because we don’t have the time to read it all, or because we don’t know about it.

My hope is that the magazine can publish the best of the EE web, so we all can read it when we have the time.

So please go check the first issue out, and get back to me with new content, criticism or ideas for content.

And remember, if you supply content to the mag, you get a free ad!

Cheers,
Thomas

I recently soft launched the Big Butt Guitars website. If your into guitars or instruments in general you should check it out.

I say “soft” launch because its still a bit short on content at this point.

Big Butt Guitars is near and dear to my heart being that it was built for my father and his custom made cigar box guitars.

If you see any issues (browser related etc.) or anything which can be approved upon please let me know.

Thanks!

I’ve been blogging about my family for 7-8 years (starting with pMachine and now EE, of course) and take a lot of pictures. I decided this year to participate in Project365. The purpose of Project365 is to take a photo a day for the entire year and create a photo diary of sorts.

I include daily photos in the main blog but also wanted to do something a little different.

Using a custom plugin, the CE Image plugin (which is great, by the way) and the Slimbox script (a Lightbox clone), I’m displaying a photo a day using EE’s calendar tag.

Don’t know if this has been done with EE before but I thought it turned out pretty good.

Take a looky here.
