Advanced Features
The ExpressionEngine Wiki Module integrates seamlessly with ExpressionEngine’s Membership Module and supports multiple wikis on a single ExpressionEngine installation. Your visitors will love how easy it is to add and edit articles, create categories (sub-categories too), upload images, and and view a article’s history. You’ll love how easy it is to moderate articles, create administrators, and receive update notifications by email or xml feeds (RSS or ATOM). The visual design is handled by a powerful, single-file template system that is fully documentated in the User Guide.
Your Content, Your Way
A wiki is a community tool so its important that the language used to style wiki content is familiar and comfortable for your members. The ExpressionEngine Wiki Modules lets you use any ExpressionEngine Text Formatting plugin to use in the wiki including Textile, Markdown, and (of course) standard xhtml. This means your members can use the same markup technique in the wiki that they use to comment on your site.
Familiar Wiki Syntax
The Wiki Module uses the familiar “wiki syntax” to create links, categories, and new articles. If you’ve used a wiki before you’ll feel right at home. If you’ve never used a wiki before, you’ll find the the wiki syntax easy to pick up and start using right away.
The Wiki Module comes bundled with ExpressionEngine.
