Tag 2.1 provides a full-featured "folksonomy engine" for ExpressionEngine that integrates into Weblogs, the Gallery, and is compatible with the Multiple Site Manager. Tag 2.1 works directly from the Publish screen or you can create Tag forms and allow your community to tag your entries, making it extremely easy to organize your entries as you see fit. The Tag Module is available from the ExpressionEngine.com store.

Key Features
The Tag Module lets you add Keywords right from the Publish screen; no going to a separate screen or using custom fields. The powerful auto-suggest feature recommends keywords based on your entry's content. The Tag Module uses a simple and elegant "see as you type" feature which dynamically displays a list of matching keywords as you type.
Get your community involved by creating Tag Forms which lets people add their own keywords to entries. Create templates to display entries by keyword and generate tag clouds. Prevent words from being submitted as keywords using the Bad Tag feature and create lists of entries related to a main entry by utilizing shared tags.
Powerful Control Panel Management
The Tag Module Control Panel offers an extensive feature set for large websites such as the ability to turn categories into tags using the harvest feature and "bad tag" management. The Manage Tag option displays a list of every tag in use. Clicking on the tag brings up a list of all the entries the tag is used on allowing for easy editing and management of tags across a numerous entries. The Tag Module's "combine" feature lets you rename a keyword to an existing keyword and merge all the entries into a combined set which makes tidying up keywords in use a breeze. You can specify that certain words are "bad tags" which prevents them from being used.
If you previously used custom fields to add keywords to entries, the Tag Module can "harvest" those custom fields so your previous keywords are not lost.

The Tag module easily installs and integrates with EE. Just drop the files into the right places and click to install the module. Add the various tagging functions to your templates and in no time you will be tagging your entries.
