The Developer Preview of ExpressionEngine 2.0, code named "Kaylee" is a pre-release version that enables third-party developers to convert, build, and test their add-ons on the EE 2.0 code base.

Please note that Kaylee is not a feature complete beta version meant for UI and feature testing. Kaylee is strictly for developers to familiarize themselves with the new code base and begin add-on conversion.

The following list describes individuals whose applications will be considered for the Developer Preview program.

• Developers with add-ons in the official Add-On Library.
• Developers who have released and provided support for commercial add-ons.
• Developers who have released and provided support for popular free add-ons.
• Developers who specialize in their company as a provider of one-off add-ons built for client sites.

In other words, you must have a published ExpressionEngine add-on or provide proof of a private client add-on to be considered for this initial Developer Preview. You must also be experienced with ExpressionEngine and have a solid foundation in PHP and MySQL.

Invited applicants will have direct access to the ExpressionEngine development team throughout the Developer Preview. As such, applicants must have strong communication skills.
