This can be replicated with two log-ins:  User Account A and User Account B.

- Log in as User Account A.
- Create a new Topic - call this Topic A.
- Post in an existing Topic that you didn’t start.  Lets call this Topic B.
- Log out.

- Log in as User Account B.
- Click “View New Posts”.
- Topic A and B will be returned.

- Still as User Account B….
- Respond to Topic A.
- Respond to Topic B.
- Create a new Topic - call this Topic C.
- Log out.

- Log back in as User Account A.
- Click “View New Posts”
- Only Topic C will be returned.
- Topics A and B are expected as they contain new posts from User Account B

Note that the folder icons do light up to indicate new posts.
