Train-ee’s Water from a Website Auction
Michael Boyink over at Train-ee.com is doing something unique. He’s spent the last several months doing a detailed Building a Church Site in ExpressionEngine tutorial series as the follow up to well received Building a Business Site in ExpressionEngine series (both are free).
Mike decided to auction the finished site from the Church series along with an extensive package valued at over $9700 (includes ExpressionEngine licenses along with EngineHosting’s S2 solution)! The auction is live on eBay if you’re interested. All proceeds from the auction will go toward building a fresh water well through Charity:Water (which he thoroughly researched as part of the selection process). Here’s how Mike puts it on his site:
My goal is just this - I’d love to see one well put in the ground from support by the ExpressionEngine community. To pay for one well we need to raise $5,000 USD. This will completely fund one freshwater well and provide 250+ people with a constant source of clean drinking water.
