If you haven’t heard yet, ExpressionEngine 2.0 Release Candidate (RC) will be available on December 1st, 2009. That’s a mere two weeks away. Today we’re publishing The Official ExpressionEngine 2.0 Release Candidate Frequently Asked Questions, or more simply the EE 2.0 FAQ.
The EE 2.0 FAQ addresses pricing, the upgrade policy, the plans for EE 1.6.8, and a few other important items. If you have additional questions, please post them in the Additional Questions forum thread (associated with this post) and we’ll do our best to answer them. Though please understand that we will not be posting a feature list prior to release and its unlikely we’ll go into detail about how a particular new feature/improvement works. You’ll have to wait another 14 days for the “how does X work” type of answers.
We’ll be updating the FAQ as necessary prior to release.
We plan to have one or two more updates on the blog prior to December 1st, but our priority is getting everything ready for launch day so if its quiet, you know why.
