Launch Update 2: Launch Delayed, Issues Resolved
All of EllisLab would like to apologize for the unexpected delay. If this were a Twitter post it would be #LaunchFAIL.
We had planned to launch around 5pm Pacific Time today. We initiated launch sequence around noon and at 3pm a number of unexpected issues, a few not related to launch plans at all, came up. We posted about this shortly before our planned launch time, in keeping with our promise to the Community about communication. As you might imagine this is deeply frustrating for us and we know for sure it is for you as well.
We’ve been powering through the issues and are happy to report that they are resolved. But at this point the responsible thing to do in order to ensure a quality launch is to get some rest and continue working toward launch tomorrow.
