#FRUP It Up. October 7 Edition
As a whole, I think we’ve seen better weeks. But, that hasn’t stopped you from doing amazing things this week.

Add-ons
- Eric Lamb of mithra62 is at it again! He just released EE-Syntax, a code syntax highlighter for ExpressionEngine. Along with a new add-on, he’s also updated Backup Pro(ish) and Backup Pro.
Site Launches
- Yiannis Konstantakopoulos released a new version of his web site porcupine colors. It runs EE, and is built in HTML5, CSS3, and has a responsive design. Nice work Yiannis!
Must Read
- Ian Ebden of DesignKarma wrote an article called Granular SEO in ExpressionEngine. SEO is very important, and this is well worth the read. Remember Lee Goldberg of Vector Media Group also wrote an article on SEO and ExpressionEngine. With these two resources, all your SEO questions should be answered!
- The Meta Q released an article on “Why You Can Count on ExpressionEngine Scaling”. Some important questions arise when it comes to scaling a site. How does EE add up? Check out the article for the lowdown.
- Check out the interview we did with Viget on a cool site they built in EE.

- devot:ee announced they started using VMG Chosen Member on their site, and that it’s really nice. VMG Chosen Member is a fieldtype for easily searching and adding members to posts. Go check it out!
