EECI2010 Top Ten, #3! Meet The Ryans, the Dynamic Duo Behind EE Insider and Devot-ee

Top Ten Reasons Why EECI is the Event of the Year. Register now!

Back in #7 I described Ryan Irelan as a “Community Avatar.” Sir Irelan is the driving force behind EE Insider. He wrote the first book on ExpressionEngine 2.0, he produces screen casts, and hosts EE Help Chat, a real-time community supported help session. Oh, he’s also going to be bringing EECI2010 live as much as possible through a special page on EE Insider.

Ryan Masuga decided that there should be a single site that collects every single ExpressionEngine add-on in existence and created Devot-ee.com. He recently launched a store to help developers reach a broader audience with their audience and give the community and easy way to track changes to 3rd party updates.

Ryan Masuga has also built a reputation for being an outspoken critic of well, everything, on his Twitter account, @masuga that keeps everyone, including us here at EllisLab, on our toes.

Between the two Ryans you can stay on top of 99.9% of everything happening in the ExpressionEngine Community.

At EllisLab we are doing our part to support both their efforts. We love what they do and how they impact the lives of web professionals.

At EECI2010 you can meet them in person. Better yet, find ways to help them out. You could contribute an article, send them an add-on tip, a how-to, or just a thank you.

See you next week!
