A Delighter for Pro Net Members
This is a short post that will delight close to 300 of our community members. Something that we have long wanted to provide our Pro Net members with is an easy way to update their Pro Net listing information. Well, as of today you have the ability to update your information by going to your listing page and clicking on the ‘Edit this Listing’ link in the lower left hand corner.
I have tried to associate the author of the entry with user accounts where I could, but there is a chance that you will see a message saying that you are not the author. If you do get that error message then send me a link to your listing and your username. I will fix it for you pronto.
To the rest of you, if you are interested in joining the Pro Net we are accepting applications.
If you primarily develop websites for clients…
You or your team must have completed at least 7 ExpressionEngine projects that are professionally designed. You will have to give an account of how you harnessed the power of EE to make the site easier to manage. Your own website must be professionally designed and include an online portfolio of client work (doesn’t have to be EE specific). We should also see work that is more web standards based than not. We do not require 100% validation but looking at the underlying HTML/CSS of your work should reveal sites designed with standards in mind.
If you primarily develop custom add-ons for ExpressionEngine…
You must have released at least three add-ons to the Public (free or commercial). Your site must be professionally designed and standards based. You must have a publicly available, easy to find support policy for your add-ons. You must have a clear support method available directly at your site (email and/or forums for example) or use a dedicated 3rd party support method such as Get Satisfaction or Devot-ee. You must have a license agreement publicly available for your add-ons.
As usual if I can help you in any way please let me know.
