EE 2.0.1 is Out, Did you Miss It?

Yesterday we released the biggest update to the beta yet, ExpressionEngine 2.0.1. Its got a number of fixes along with some minor, but important UI updates such as a change in how notifications are displayed in the Control Panel. Please see the Change Log for all the details.

Launch Update 2: Launch Delayed, Issues Resolved

All of EllisLab would like to apologize for the unexpected delay. If this were a Twitter post it would be #LaunchFAIL.

We had planned to launch around 5pm Pacific Time today. We initiated launch sequence around noon and at 3pm a number of unexpected issues, a few not related to launch plans at all, came up. Launch Update

We promised to tell you if a snag came up prior to launch and unfortunately it has.

The plan was to launch this evening but during the initial rollout we encountered a few issues. We’re working through them but it may delay the launch. I’ll update later this evening with how things are going.

You Spoke, We Listened: Important Release Updates

We’ve been listening closely to the feedback regarding EE 2.0’s release plans and we’re going to implement a few important changes to better reflect the needs of the Community and what we want to accomplish on 12/1.
