Private Support Beta

The Private Support Beta made its first appearance to the Pro Net two months ago. The response thus far has been fantastic. The main thing we’ve heard from people in the beta are that they love the login-first approach which allows the EllisLab support team instant access to get in and start helping (once it is set up).

The next step for Private Support is to open it up to people outside the Pro Net. As of today, we have 10 spots available.

ExpressionEngine 2.2.2 Released

ExpressionEngine 2.2.2 has been released today.  Version 2.2.2 is a minor update targeting membership sites who use “Manual activation by an administrator” only.  It is not a necessary upgrade for other sites, and the handful of fixes in this release will be included in our next scheduled release targeting all users.

ExpressionEngine Paid Upgrades Go Free

Hi Beautiful EE Community,

We’ve changed the Paid Upgrade policy for all our commercial software. Here is the short version. All “right of point” releases are free. This also impacts our Download Access policy. The new policy is that you’ll always have download access to the latest release of the version you purchased.

You can read more about it on the EllisLab blog.

This year we want to have an official Developer Program, but while we work that out we want to make sure everyone that needs it has access to a Developer Preview, starting immediately with EE 2.2.

This is specifically for EE...

Hello to our wonderful community.  It has been too long since I wrote.

In honor of that, we are pleased to introduce to you the Community Help forum.  It is the go-to place for finding help and sharing your ideas for implementing, customizing, and brainstorming how to execute your vision with ExpressionEngine.

We actually had this in place already, but...
