Thanks for great extension/module.

It is really useful to have the possibility to set the show order of the Weblogs, but it can be confusing if the order is not respected across all Control Panel.

Currently the order one can set by going CP Home >  Admin >  Weblog Administration >  Weblog Management is respected only in Publish tab dropdown. It would be great if the same order were respected also

1) In Edit tab dropdown. Cocoaholic’s Edit Menu extension is something most EE users cannot live without; Edit Menu extension of course does not respect show order of the Weblogs set by Weblog Extended, so it seems that consistency can be achieved only by reimplementing in Weblog Extended Edit Menu’s functionality.

2) In the list of weblogs which is displayed by clicking Publish tab. It’s true that EE users most often click not on Publish tab, but on some item in Publish tab’s dropdown, but still it is best when weblog list is the same across CP.

3)  In weblog list which is displayed by selectbox in Edit tab’s “Edit Weblog Entries” search form.

I get the following error when trying to enable the extension:

MySQL ERROR:

Error Number: 1044

Description: Access denied for user ‘db34042’@’%’ to database ‘INFORMATION_SCHEMA’

Query: SELECT COLUMN_NAME FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS WHERE COLUMN_NAME = ‘blog_parent’ AND TABLE_NAME = ‘exp_weblogs’ AND TABLE_SCHEMA = ‘db34042_weddingwise’

What’s up with that? Cannot complete installation.

Does the author of this extension read this thread? Is there any other way of getting support? I can’t even install the extension. Does it work for anyone else? Are there any alternatives that do the same thing that do work?

This looks like the prefect extension. Unfortunately i get a heap of SQL code at the top of the pages i include the tag on.
